SuperAuto® Cigarette Machine FAQ's
Which size cigarettes does the SuperAuto® make?
The SuperAuto makes both 100MM and King size cigarettes.
How do I use the SuperAuto cigarette machine?
- Plug in the machine and turn it on.
- Slide a filter tube onto the nozzle.
- Open the chamber guard.
- To make 100MM cigarettes, slide the cigarette size lever on the back of the machine all the way out.
- Fill the corners with tobacco first, then deposit the rest of the tobacco evenly in the tobacco chamber. Fill to the same height as the chamber. Do not overfill.
- Use the included tamper to pack the tobacco in the chamber.
- Press and release the start button to activate the injector sequence. Remove the cigarette from the nozzle. Always turn off the SuperAuto when not in use.
How do I clean the SuperAuto cigarette machine?
Before cleaning turn off and unplug the machine. Clean the tobacco chamber and nozzle after every use. Remove tobacco residue from the tobacco chamber with the supplied cleaning brush and nozzle brush. Do not immerse the SuperAuto in water.
How do I fix a jam?
If the SuperAuto jams, the jam indicator light will flash red and the injector will reset to the start position. Prevent jamming the device by avoiding tobaccos that are overly moist such as pipe tobacco, overly dry, and/or very fine cut.
Tobacco troubleshooting:
-
- Too moist: if the tobacco is too wet, you can dry it by letting it sit out for a short period of time. Set out only as much as you plan to use in one sitting for 30 minutes to 1 hour at a time. Any time beyond that may cause your tobacco to become too dry.
- Too dry: if the tobacco is too dry, take a wedge of apple, orange peel, a piece of bread or a damp paper towel and put it in with the tobacco to moisten it.
- Too fine: if your tobacco is too fine, buy another bag and mix the two together. Be sure to mix your tobacco before each use to keep all of the fine tobacco from falling to the bottom.
If tobacco is not an issue, the injector could be bent or narrowed and the machine will need to be replaced. Please follow the instructions on the warranty paperwork or contact the Service Center for assistance.
Should I turn off the machine?
Yes. You should always turn off and unplug the machine after use and before cleaning.
Should I wait for the machine to cool down between packs?
If you are making one or two packs of cigarettes you do not need to let the machine cool down. If you are making multiple packs of cigarettes, you should let the machine cool down every so often.

Unfortunately, on electric machines, there are no adjustments to prevent the machine from releasing the tubes early.
My filter tubes are ripping at the tip / taking a notch off the end. How do I fix this?
Unfortunately, on electric machines, there are no adjustments to prevent the machine from ripping the tubes at the tip or taking a notch off the end.
My tubes are not getting filled all the way to the filter. How do I fix this?
There could be several different reasons this is happening.
-
- Your cigarette machine might need to be cleaned to remove all tobacco residue. (See Cleaning Machine)
- You are using a tobacco that is not compatible ie. pipe tobacco or tobacco that is overly moist, dry or fine. (See Jamming Machine)
- The machine could be releasing your cigarette tubes too early. (See Releasing Cigarette Tubes Early)
Why doesn’t my machine have power?
This could be happening for a couple of different reasons:
-
- Check the 120v AC Adapter (PPS02) to ensure it is working properly. The red light on the adapter should be on. If it is not, the adapter needs to be replaced. If the light is on but blinks when you press the start button on the machine, the adaptor needs to be replaced. Please contact the Service Center to get a new adapter or place an order here.
- The machine could have a short and the electrical is not working properly. In this case the machine needs to be replaced. Please contact the Service Center or send the machine in following the instructions on the warranty paperwork.
Can the SuperAuto machine be oiled?
No. Our electric machines cannot be oiled.
Are the internal parts available for the SuperAuto?
The only internal parts available for the machine are the springs.
Will the warranty be voided if the SuperAuto is taken apart?
No, taking the machine apart does not void the Limited Warranty. Making alterations to the machine does void the Limited Warranty.
What is the cleaning compartment cover for?
The cleaning compartment cover (PPS05) is used to clear out tobacco that falls into the machine during use. Remove the cleaning compartment cover located at the bottom of the machine and gently tip the machine back and forth to clean out any tobacco residue. If this is not done regularly, tobacco will build up and the machine will malfunction.
How do I replace the chamber guard?
- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- Open the chamber guard (PPS01).
- Firmly grasp the chamber guard with your thumb on the left and your fingers near the tobacco chamber.
- Press firmly with your thumb and pull into your palm with your fingers. This will bow the chamber guard slightly and you will be able to pull the right side of the chamber guard out.
- Turn the chamber guard so it is vertical to the machine and pull the left side out.
